SPAIN WARY OF UPSET
Del Bosque - warns against complacency.
Spain will look to make it three wins out of three in their World Cup qualifying group when they take on bottom side Estonia this weekend, but the European champions are not taking anything for granted.
In-form Spain stretched their unbeaten run to 25 matches with victories in their opening two Group Five encounters against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Armenia, and the Iberian nation have now also gone six games without conceding a goal.
It is a hugely impressive run and the world's top-ranked team are clear favourites to extend it when they face an Estonia side that have lost their first two qualifiers against Belgium and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and conceded 10 goals in the process.
However, Spain coach Vicente del Bosque is determined not to allow any complacency to creep in, saying: "On European nights you always pay for your mistakes.
"It's true that the seven goals they conceded against Bosnia-Herzegovina have overshadowed their performance in Brussels (where they lost 3-2), but in the 70th minute of the match in the Belgian capital they were close to going 2-1 ahead.
"They are a well-organised team, solid and who from dead-ball situations can cause you problems if you don't have the right sort of attitude for these games."
Spain midfielder Xavi added ahead of Saturday's clash in Tallinn: "We still don't know much about them and we are going to try and analyse them over the next 24 hours, but to win away from home is difficult.
"On paper we are the favourites, but this will be an extra motivation for them."
Xavi insists the fitness levels in the Spain camp are good ahead of the match, despite many of the players having had a hectic schedule of domestic, European and international fixtures over the last few months.
"At the moment we are fine. We have been in competition for two months and physically we are at a good level at Barcelona and in the national team," he said.
"We have trained hard this week and it's been good that there have not been any midweek games. We feel comfortable in the preparations because we have a fairly long week ahead of us."
Del Bosque, whose side travel to Belgium for their next World Cup qualifier four days after facing Estonia, has pledged to choose his strongest possible side this weekend, ruling out resting any players due to Primera Liga commitments such as the upcoming Madrid derby.
There is a fitness question mark against Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos though, so Alvaro Arbeloa and Andoni Iraola could be in with chance of starting at right-back.
One player who definitely will not be involved is Sevilla winger Diego Capel, who was forced to pull out of the squad earlier this week with a thigh injury that will sideline him for the next month.
Taking his place in the travelling party is Liverpool winger Albert Riera, whose last appearance for Spain came in March's friendly win against Italy.
