ATLETICO SEAL BANEGA DEAL
Banega - is set to join Atletico.
Atletico Madrid have confirmed the signing of Argentinian midfielder Ever Banega on loan from Valencia.
The player is due to be introduced later on Thursday, according a statement on the club's website.
"Atletico Madrid and Valencia have reached an agreement for Ever Banega to play on loan with the Rojiblanco during 2008/09," the statement said.
Banega, 20, has just returned from Beijing having helped Argentina to Olympic gold.
He joined Valencia from Boca Juniors in January but struggled to establish himself, making 12 appearances last season.
