FREY KEEN ON FRANCE RECALL
Frey - national team 'a dream'.
Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey has not given up hope of representing France again after backtracking on his threat to retire from the international scene.
The 28-year-old has been in inspired form for La Viola in recent seasons and was named in the France squad for Euro 2008 but did not play.
France coach Raymond Domenech then omitted Frey for the recent friendly with Sweden, prompting the custodian to announce his retirement from international football.
Now, however, Frey says he would play for France again but not while Domenech remains the coach.
"The national team remains a dream for me," Frey told La Gazzetta dello Sport ahead of France's World Cup qualifier against Austria.
"But I have had no contact and I'm sad. If the future national coach needs me I will be there."
