Latics trio to miss Bulls clash

Latics trio to miss Bulls clash

Gregan: Suspended

Defender Stam was forced to withdraw from last Friday's side which lost to Stockport as he sustained knee damage in training the day before and is facing a month out.

With Gregan serving the final game of his three-match suspension, Richie Byrne will continue to cover in at centre-back while on-loan Daniel Jones will make his second start at full-back.

Midfielder Lee has been boosted by the news he will be able to return to full training shortly following his hamstring injuries but the visit of Hereford will come too soon for the former Manchester United trainee.

However, there is better news for Sheridan as striker Lee Hughes has overcome his groin problem and is likely to partner Craig Davies in the Latics attack.

"It's a game that we can win and we should win," said Sheridan. "We've had them watched and learned they are very organised and put plenty of men behind the ball, and it might be a game in which we have to be patient."

The match kicks off at 2pm.
