Midfielder Adam Nowland remains a long-term absentee with a serious hamstring injury which will see him sidelined until October.
Striker Jamie Forrester should be available following an illness which saw him miss the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat against Scunthorpe.
But defender Stephen Hunt is still out with the groin injury which has so far prevented him from making an appearance this season.
Midfielder Gavin Strachan has stepped up his rehabilitation following a hamstring injury and has returned to training but the game is set to come too soon for the 29-year-old.
Captain Mike Edwards insists they will put their midweek defeat to the back of their minds when they take on the Cherries and told the club's official website: "Bournemouth have obviously had their managerial change this week. We'll give it all we have to win on Saturday. That is our main aim."
