Centre-back Efe Sodje, who made his loan signing from Gillingham permanent this summer, suffered a broken finger but will play on in protective plaster and Steve Haslam sustained an ankle strain and is rated doubtful.
Meanwhile Paul Scott, who also featured against the Clarets, received four stitches to a head wound against Brentford last weekend but is set to continue in defence.
However, new signing Andy Morrell remains short of match fitness and will once again start on the bench despite his cameo appearance against Burnley.
