TIGERS WAIT ON DUO

TIGERS WAIT ON DUO

Dawson - Achilles trouble.

Hull hope to have defender Andy Dawson and midfielder Dean Marney available for Saturday's Barclays Premier League visit of Middlesbrough.

Dawson has missed the last three games with an Achilles problem while Marney has been unable to train fully this week due to a dead leg.

Striker Caleb Folan has been ruled out after being booked in for a minor operation to cure his knee problem. He is expected to be out for between 10 days and two weeks.

Forward Daniel Cousin will hope to win a recall after manager Phil Brown replaced him with midfielder Nick Barmby against Stoke last week.

German defender Robert Huth returns to the Middlesbrough squad.

Huth has been sidelined since the end of September with a foot injury, but he may have to wait to make his comeback because Boro captain Emanuel Pogatetz is expected to recover from the bruised shoulder he sustained against Newcastle last week.

Middlesbrough right-back Tony McMahon, who has completed a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday, returns to manager Gareth Southgate's squad and midfielder Gary O'Neil is likely to be back in contention after a slight hamstring injury.
