CHARLTON SWOOP FOR WAGHORN
Waghorn - joins Charlton on loan.
Charlton have completed the signing of Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn on an initial one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old has agreed an initial one-month deal at The Valley and will go straight into Alan Pardew's squad for Saturday's home clash with Sheffield United.
Waghorn has played five times for the Black Cats, with his solitary appearance this season coming in the 5-0 defeat at Chelsea a fortnight ago.
The South Shields-born youngster is the second Sunderland frontman to be farmed out on loan to a Championship club this month following Michael Chopra's switch to Cardiff.
Addicks boss Pardew has been desperate to add to his squad following a disappointing start to the season, and allowed midfielder Darren Ambrose to rejoin Ipswich last week to free up funds for some loan signings.
