DRIVER'S TEST
Driver - Achilles problem.
Andrew Driver is waiting on the outcome of a fitness test which will decide if he plays in this weekend's Edinburgh derby.
The Hearts winger has been out for six weeks with an Achilles problem but returned to light training last week without suffering any adverse reaction.
Manager Csaba Laszlo has revealed if Driver comes through today's test, he should return against Hibernian on Sunday.
"Andy has his fitness test today (Tuesday), and if everything is okay I think he will play at the weekend," Laszlo told the Edinburgh Evening News.
"I am confident but I will wait to see what happens today. He had recovery training last week, and I hope everything is okay now and he can begin full training tomorrow.
"We must see him play football, running, shooting and sprinting. If there is no reaction and he can do this 100%, I think he will be okay."
On-loan Reggina striker Mike Tullberg missed training yesterday with a stomach complaint, but Laszlo does not expect it to threaten his availability at Easter Road.
Laszlo insists he will not prepare his side for Sunday's showdown any differently to any other game.
Following defeats to Dundee United and Kilmarnock, Hearts are hoping to return to winning ways in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
"Derby games are always different," the manager told Hearts News Today.
"For me, every game is important. But the character of a derby is a little bit different.
"I will prepare the team this week as I do for every match, as if we were playing the best team in the world.
"I like to win every game we play.
"We are all looking forward to the match; we are taking a big crowd to Hibs - which is great - and our supporters will help make it a good atmosphere."
