ACCIES SIGN CANNING
Hamilton have signed Martin Canning until the end of the season.
The defender, 26, was one of three players who had their contracts terminated by Hibernian by mutual consent earlier in the day.
Canning now hopes to bolster Accies' chances of surviving their first season back in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
The Lanarkshire club have also recruited goalkeeping coach Brian Potter.
He has registered as a player to provide additional cover but
is not expected to replace either Tomas Cerny or Sean Murdoch in the squad.
