Boothroyd - 'nothing' in loan talk.

Adrian Boothroyd has insisted that there is "nothing at all" in reports linking a number of players with loan moves away from Watford.

Damien Francis, Mart Poom and Jobi McAnuff have been named as targets for Ipswich, Coventry and Crystal Palace respectively, but Boothroyd insists that he has no plans to move them on.

He said: "There is nothing at all in that. Obviously the deadline's gone and there's not much to write about.

"Nobody's made any contact with me. And there's no point in other people having them on loan if we can use them."
