ROEDER SEEKING STRIKING SOLUTION

ROEDER SEEKING STRIKING SOLUTION

Cureton's return will bolster attack.

Norwich manager Glenn Roeder has a selection dilemma on his hands as he searches for a first goal of the season at home to Blackpool.

Roeder has seen his side dominate both matches so far this season without scoring and admitted after the 1-0 defeat at MK Dons in midweek that his strikers would have to raise their game.

Last season's top scorer Jamie Cureton should return to the starting line-up with either Arturo Lupoli or Omar Koroma partnering him.

All eyes will be on winger Wes Hoolahan as he faces his former club while left-back Adam Drury could make his first league start since October 2007.

On-loan Ryan Bertrand, who is fit again after a pre-season knock, is also pushing for a starting berth.

David Bell will have to wait for his debut as he recovers from an ankle injury while Gary Doherty is out for three months with an ankle problem of his own. John Kennedy, Dejan Stefanovic and Lee Croft will hope to return after missing out in midweek.

The Seasiders' manager Simon Grayson is expected to hand striker Steve Kabba a starting role for the trip to Norfolk.

The on-loan Watford forward has yet to make his debut due to an Achilles injury but he has taken part in training this week.

Ben Burgess is currently the only fully-fit senior striker available to Simon Grayson and Kabba seems likely to feature at Carrow Road.

Club captain Shaun Barker, who has missed the opening games with a thigh problem, could also be a surprise inclusion in the side.

However, midfielder Keith Southern is suspended and left-back Stephen Crainey and strikers Daniel Nardiello and Stephen McPhee could all remain sidelined through injury.

Claus Jorgensen is likely to return to replace Southern after not being risked in the midweek Carling Cup defeat at Macclesfield.
