THOMAS MAKES POMPEY LOAN MOVE
Thomas - Portsmouth loan move.
Portsmouth have completed the signing of Jerome Thomas on a season-long loan from Charlton.
Harry Redknapp has been a long-term admirer of the winger after trying to sign Thomas during January's transfer window.
Charlton boss Alan Pardew had admitted the former Arsenal youngster may be moved on to reduce the club's wage bill.
And Thomas has now finalised his switch to Fratton Park.
Pompey's chief executive Peter Storrie told the club's official website: "Jerome's a young player that Harry has always liked - a quick, wide player who is a good addition to the squad.
"The idea is that he comes here and proves himself. If he plays to the ability we all know he has then he has a great chance of staying here longer, so it's in his hands.
"Harry has been looking to add a quick, wide player, something that's important when you've got someone like (Peter) Crouch up front."
