PLYMOUTH SWOOP FOR WALTON
Walton - joins Plymouth.
Plymouth have completed the signing of midfielder Simon Walton from Championship rivals QPR.
The 20-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at Home Park after arriving for an undisclosed club-record fee - more than the £500,000 forked out for Steve McLean in January.
Walton arrived at Loftus Road from Charlton last summer but suffered a broken leg in pre-season which limited him to just five appearances for the Hoops.
He joined Hull on loan in January and made 10 appearances as the Tigers won promotion to the Premier League.
"Simon is a player who I have monitored for years and I feel he is the perfect person for us," Argyle boss Paul Sturrock told the club's official website.
