TRANSFER STRIFE FRUSTRATES STURROCK
Sturrock - frustrated.
Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock has admitted that he has been frustrated at the lack of transfer activity at Home Park in the last week.
Despite his team being away on a pre-season tour of Austria, Sturrock has still been working hard to bring players in but with no success.
He told the Herald: "I'm very frustrated we haven't added anybody to the squad this week. We have been so close, yet so far.
"We always seem to pick one whose wife is pregnant, or he doesn't want to leave the area he's in for some reason. When I get back on Monday, I will just be all guns blazing."
Sturrock has warned that even though he is desperate to bring players in, he will not succumb to unrealistic wage demands.
"There are a few who are hanging out for the 'lucky bag', which they are not going to get from us," he added.
