COLEMAN STANDS FIRM OVER BEST
Best - linked with Nottingham Forest.
Coventry manager Chris Coleman has insisted that Leon Best is not for sale amid speculation that Championship rivals Nottingham Forest have renewed their interest in the forward.
Nottingham-born Best handed in a transfer request last season when his hometown club approached the Sky Blues with an offer to sign the 21-year-old.
Coleman is adamant that Best is part of his plans for the forthcoming season and that his future remains at the Ricoh Arena.
"He has got so much ability and Leon is certainly not someone that we are looking to sell," Coleman told BBC Radio Warwickshire.
"We are looking to build a team with good players. Leon certainly fits into that, he has looked excellent in pre-season."
