CANARIES BOSS WANTS TARGETMAN

CANARIES BOSS WANTS TARGETMAN

Roeder - looking for a 'big man'.

Norwich manager Glenn Roeder has confirmed he is in the hunt for a targetman to complete his rebuilding programme at Carrow Road.

Roeder has added former Arsenal striker Arturo Lupoli to his striking options this season but after losing Dion Dublin to retirement, he wants a physical presence in attack.

He told the Pink'Un: "He's an extremely hard-working player [Lupoli] and works off the shoulder and makes runs in behind.

"But we now need to find a bigger, more physical striker for him and for Jamie Cureton to play with.

"Cureton's at his best when he's playing with a bigger striker alongside him, the same as Arturo."
