ENGLISH FLAVOUR TO DANISH SQUAD
Agger - called up for Denmark.
Denmark have called up several English-based players for next week's friendly against European champions Spain.
Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is named for the first time in 10 months as he continues his recovery from a foot injury.
Other Premier League interest includes Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen, Aston Villa's Martin Laursen, Fulham's Leon Andreasen and Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner.
Denmark take on Spain in Copenhagen on August 20, the Spaniards' first encounter since their 1-0 final victory against Germany in Euro 2008.
Coach Morten Olsen will expand his squad before then, but is waiting to get a clearer picture of which players are fit.
Squad: Jesper Christiansen, Stephan Andersen (Brondby), Thomas Sorensen (Stoke); Daniel Agger (Liverpool), Lars Jacobsen (no club), Martin Laursen (Aston Villa), Per Kroldrup (Fiorentina); Christian Poulsen (Juventus), Daniel Jensen (Werder Bremen), Leon Andreasen (Fulham), Martin Retov (Hansa Rostock), Martin Vingaard (Esbjerg); Dennis Rommedahl (Ajax), Jon Dahl Tomasson (Feyenoord) Nicklas Bendtner (Arsenal).
