HULL STILL EYE CAMPBELL DEAL

Hull City chairman Paul Duffen is refusing to concede defeat in his bid to land Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell.
The 20-year-old was a revelation while on-loan at the KC Stadium last season, as his 15 goals in 32 starts helped Hull to the Premier League for the first time in their history.
Tigers boss Phil Brown is desperate to bring the player back to the club for the forthcoming campaign but Campbell has impressed for United in pre-season and has been told by Sir Alex Ferguson he has a future at Old Trafford.
Although Campbell has also stated his desire to force his way into Ferguson's first team plans, Duffen believes a deal could yet still be struck.
"Fraizer did not do himself any harm against Espanyol on Saturday. And I would not expect Sir Alex to say anything else at this stage," Duffen told the Hull Daily Mail.
"All we can do is respect Manchester United's wishes but make sure Sir Alex is not in any doubt as to our interest in Fraizer. We will just have to bide our team and be patient."
Hull have also bid for Bolton's Kevin Davies but Duffen is willing to accept that this deal is dead in the water, with the powerful striker likely to sign a new deal with the Reebok Stadium club.
"Kevin Davies is someone we put a bid in for but Bolton have made it quite clear he is not for sale," Duffen added.
"We have respected that and have not made another bid. It is my belief that Kevin will be signing an extended contract to stay at Bolton."
