MARTIS BLOW FOR ROVERS

MARTIS BLOW FOR ROVERS

Martis - hamstring injury.

Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll has revealed that Shelton Martis suffered a serious hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw against Watford.

The 26-year-old Netherlands Antilles defender was replaced by Sam Hird in the 41st minute of the game last weekend and O'Driscoll admitted the injury could cut short his loan spell from West Bromwich Albion.

"The indication from head physio John Dickens is that he has torn his hamstring which is very unfortunate," O'Driscoll told the club's website.

"He'll get it scanned and we will see the extent of the injury afterwards."
