COYLE PLANNING SET OF LATE TESTS
Coyle: Waiting on players
Burnley manager Owen Coyle will check on several players as he looks to celebrate his first anniversary in charge with a home win over struggling Doncaster.
Defender Michael Duff picked up a knock on international duty for Northern Ireland in their midweek 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Hungary.
Coyle said: "Michael Duff is a concern because he came off with a knock for Northern Ireland on Wednesday night. We are just waiting to hear the extent of the injury whether it is a minor knock or if he will be struggling for Saturday."
However, Martin Paterson, Graham Alexander and Kevin McDonald all came through international duty unscathed and are fit for selection.
Winger Chris Eagles (ankle) looks certain to be fit and defender Steven Caldwell is available again after suspension but is a doubt with a knock.
Christian Kalvenes is nearing fitness but will not figure, while Remco van der Schaaf has only just returned to training following a virus.
Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll is set to keep faith with the same squad of players that did so well last weekend.
Shelton Martis scored Rovers' first home goal at the Keepmoat Stadium since August to secure a 1-0 victory over Ipswich - their first win in 13 games - last time out and O'Driscoll has no fresh injury or suspension worries.
Defender Gareth Roberts is doubtful with the hamstring injury which kept him out of that match while James Coppinger is being eased back from a calf injury but could make the bench.
Sean McDaid remains on the treatment table with long-standing knee problem while fellow defender Jos Van Nieuwstadt is still on the road to recovery from a hamstring injury.
Midfielder Mark Wilson has been allowed to join League One Tranmere on loan.
