LAWS HAS NEARLY FULLY FIT SQUAD
Laws: Spoilt for choice
Sheffield Wednesday's injury crisis is over with Brian Laws able to choose from a near full-strength squad for the clash with Doncaster.
Laws recently had as many as nine first-team players out with injuries of varying degrees, but has only Richard Hinds (ankle) and
Jimmy Smith on the sidelines for the South Yorkshire derby.
On-loan Chelsea midfielder Smith sits out the third game of a four-match ban, but otherwise Laws enjoys the rare luxury of having several options.
Leon Clarke operated as a sole striker at Crystal Palace last week and Laws is expected to play two up front at Hillsborough, with Francis Jeffers, Akpo Sodje, Marcus Tudgay and Deon Burton all vying for a start.
Mark Beevers and captain Richard Wood are expected to continue in central defence.
Doncaster have several injury concerns as they head to Hillsborough aiming to record their first league win over Sheffield Wednesday.
Rovers are in dreadful form having not won since August and boss Sean O'Driscoll will not have a full-strength team to choose from.
Midfielder James Coppinger is rated as highly doubtful as he suffers from a calf injury, while new signing Shelton Martis also looks set to miss out with a hamstring injury picked up in training.
It gets worse for O'Driscoll as defender Jos Van Nieuwstadt (hamstring) is definitely missing but the under-pressure boss is boosted by news that James Chambers, Gordon Greer and Richie Wellens have all recovered from injury.
Wellens is expected to go straight into the side after playing 45 minutes in the reserves during the week.
